The wage gap persists: Black workers earn 24% less than white workers in the same roles. Despite being 13.6% of the U.S. population, Black people only make up 8% of management roles. We need equitable opportunities in the workplace!

In 2024, racial hate crimes rose by 11%. Systemic racism affects education, housing, healthcare, and jobs for Black Americans. Black drivers are 20% more likely to be pulled over by police than white drivers. Black students are disciplined in schools at rates 3 times higher than white students. Racism is not history—it’s today, and we need to dismantle it.

The maternal mortality rate for Black women is 3 times higher than that for white women. Diabetes affects 12% of Black adults compared to 7.5% of white adults. Healthcare is a human right, and we demand access for all.

Only 54% of Black students graduate from college in 2024, compared to 72% of white students. Black students face more suspensions and expulsions—3 times the rate of their white peers. Schools with predominantly Black students receive $23 billion less in funding than predominantly white schools. Education is a gateway to opportunity, but Black students are still left behind. We need equitable funding now.

Despite protests, Black people are still 3 times more likely to be killed by police than white people. Racial profiling is real: Black men are arrested at a rate 5 times higher than white men. Infrastructure neglect disproportionately affects Black communities, contributing to fewer economic opportunities. We need investment in our communities.

Black Americans are 2.5 times more likely to live in food deserts in 2024. 22% of Black households experience hunger or food insecurity, compared to 9% of white households. Fast food is often the only option in these areas, leading to higher rates of diabetes and hypertension. Everyone deserves access to healthy, nutritious food. Let’s fix our broken food system.
